About the role

We are seeking a capable and detail-driven Payroll officer to join our finance and workface team on a 3 day per week basis.

Role Title: Payroll Officer

Location: Moorebank, New South Wales, Australia

Hours: 3 days per week Permanent part time (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday)

Reporting: Payroll Manager

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a payroll role (2+ years preferred).
• Experience in HR3 system preferred, not compulsory
• Understanding of Australian payroll legislation, awards, and NES requirements.
• High attention to detail, strong numerical accuracy, and excellent time management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with centre teams and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Process weekly/monthly payroll using HR3, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain employee records, contracts, onboarding details, and award classifications.
• Reconcile timesheets, leave balances, allowances, and variations across multiple centres.
• Respond to payroll queries with clarity, professionalism, and a service‑focused approach.
• Process work covers related payment and reconciliation for each work cover case
• Maintain job changes forms and updating in HR3
• Assisting payroll manager for any payroll related tasks
• Access and look after payroll emails when needed
