Customer Service Consultant


We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive Customer Service Consultant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and can confidently manage ahigh volume of enquiries while supporting the day-to-day coordination of our hire fleet operations.

About the Role

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, coordinating hire fleet administration tasks, and ensuring enquiries, bookings, and fleet movements are managed efficiently and within agreed service timeframes. You’ll work across multiple systems daily and play an important role in keeping operations running smoothly while consistently meeting service level agreements(SLAs).

Hours: Monday – Friday, Full Time Permanent

Reporting: Customer Service Manager

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service, fleet administration, hire coordination, or a similar role
  • Experience working to KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Strong computer literacy and confidence using multiple systems simultaneously
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment
  • A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage a high volume of customer enquiries via phone, email, and internal systems
  • Coordinate hire bookings, fleet allocations, and scheduling requirements
  • Ensure all enquiries, bookings, and customer requests are actioned within agreed SLA timeframes
  • Maintain accurate fleet records, customer information, and documentation
  • Navigate and update multiple systems and databases with accuracy
  • Liaise with customers, drivers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Proactively identify operational issues and implement solutions before they escalate
  • Monitor fleet availability and assist with utilisation planning
  • Provide administrative support relating to hire contracts, invoicing, and reporting
  • Prioritise workload effectively to meet deadlines and operational targets
  • Ensure all customer interactions are handled professionally and efficiently
