Equipment Sales Specialist - Complex Rehab


About the role

In this highly regarded role, you will join a very motivated team and work closely with key prescribers (Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists) and end users and develop excellent client relationships where you will build on existing sale opportunities to achieve realistic targets. The ideal candidate would be an excellent communicator, quick to grasp our products and have a passion for sales and the healthcare industry. It would be beneficial if the candidate has a genuine interest in healthcare equipment.

A background in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy is preferred but not essential.

Role Title: Equipment Sales Specialist - Complex Rehab

Location: Regency Park, South Australia, Australia

Hours: Monday – Friday, Full Time Permanent

Reporting: Commercial & Clinical Manager – Complex Rehab

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills. Preferably an outgoing personality that is interested in people and quick to develop strong relationships
  • A background in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy is preferred but not essential. Experience working with NDIS participants and equipment provision is highly favoured
  • Previous experience or knowledge of the Aged Care & Disability equipment sector is an advantage but not imperative. We welcome motivated individuals who are eager to learn and grow in this role and offer excellent in-house training
  • Determination, organised, autonomous and willing to go above and beyond for excellent customer service and results
  • Motivated by being able to provide effective equipment solutions to clients and finds the process rewarding
  • Comfortable navigating necessary computer systems to manage customer interactions and maintain records.
  • Physically capable of handling equipment demonstrations in and out of your van for ‘show & tell’ sessions
  • Willing to travel regularly within your sales area to meet client requests

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Selling and scripting of specialised equipment for both adults and paediatrics in the complex rehab sector.
  • Provide helpful and timely equipment trials and demonstrations to clients. Equipment may include complex manual chairs and power chairs or complex seating. Other specialised equipment may include standing frames, walkers and specialised posture/comfort chairs.
  • Support therapists with healthcare equipment needs and requirements
  • Be an expert in our products and services, staying up-to-date with new features and offerings and using this knowledge to deliver excellent customer experience.
  • Foster strong and positive relationships with therapist, customers and suppliers
  • Sales Targets: Meet and exceed established sales KPIs and budget targets. These targets are realistic and achievable as proven by current team members
