About the role

In this key role, you would carry out necessary maintenance, repair and testing on power and manual wheelchairs (Customised).

Role Title: Service Technician – Complex Rehab

Location: Port Macquarie NSWbranch

Hours: Monday – Friday, Full Time Permanent

Reporting: Regional Manager

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Preference for a Mechanical or Service Technician background or field experience within the healthcare or service-related sector.
• Strong problem solving to customer’s needs and provide appropriate solutions
• Ability to deliver a high level of communication and professional customer service
• The ability to work independently with strong time management, punctuality and admin skillset
• Current and valid Driver’s License and willing to travel to meet client requirements

Duties & Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and complete repairs and servicing with the highest level of skill and customer service by identifying correct parts required for repairs & upgrades.
• To set up new & trial equipment with therapists as required.
• Maintaining servicing equipment and the company vehicle in a good condition, ensuring inventory is adequate.
• Become an expert on our products, staying up-to-date with new features and offerings and using this knowledge to identify correct parts as required for repairs & upgrades.
• Maintain the safety and integrity of all serviced products in accordance with Australian Standards and Company Policy.
