What is the opportunity?

A fantastic opportunity now exists for a Service Technician to join our highly successful Service Team at Cardiff on a Permanent Full Time Basis. The focus of this role is to carry out the maintenance, repairs and testing of equipment including beds, patient hoists, wheelchairs, motorised scooters and a wide range of medical equipment and health aids.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Completing repairs and servicing with the highest level of skill and customer service
  • Preparing clear and concise service records
  • Maintaining the company vehicle in a good condition
  • Ensuring van inventory is adequate to complete required repairs
  • Maintaining a neat and tidy personal presentation at all times
  • Maintain the safety and integrity of all serviced products in accordance with Australian Standards and Company Policy

Role Requirements:

  • Mechanical or Service Technician background preferred, but not essential
  • Field experience preferably within the Healthcare or service-related sector
  • A strong desire to achieve a high level of professional customer service
  • The ability and desire to understand the customer’s needs and provide appropriate solutions
  •  A high standard of communication skills
  • The ability to work independently, whilst contributing to the team results
  • Strong time management and punctuality skills
  • Current and valid Driver’s License
