Showroom Consultant

This is not a typical retail or customer service role.

At Aidacare, you will work directly with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to support individuals with complex mobility and care needs. Every conversation you have has the potential to improve someone’s independence, comfort, and quality of life.

If you have experience in NDIS, aged care, or a healthcare environment and are looking to step into a more consultative, meaningful role — this could be your next move.

About the Company

Aidacare is one of Australia’s leading providers of healthcare equipment and assistive technology, supporting hospitals, aged care facilities, rehabilitation services, and community care nationwide.

With a strong reputation built on empathy, expertise, and service, our teams work closely with clients and healthcare professionals to deliver solutions that genuinely improve lives.

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting multiple Showroom Consultant positions across South Australia, including:

  • Ascot Park
  • Modbury
  • Regency Park
  • Roving Consultant (based at Ascot Park, supporting multiple locations)

This position will be based at our Ascot Park branch.

About the Role

As a Showroom Consultant, you will take a consultative approach to working with clients, guiding them through important decisions around mobility and assistive technology.

This role sits at the intersection of customer service, healthcare, and solution-based sales.

You will:

  • Conduct in-depth consultations with clients, families, and carers
  • Work closely with Occupational Therapists and healthcare professionals
  • Understand complex care needs and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Support clients through their journey from enquiry to outcome
  • Manage sensitive and sometimes emotional conversations with professionalism and empathy
  • Process orders and documentation accurately, including within funded environments (NDIS, aged care)
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and follow-up

About You

You are confident managing conversations with depth and care, and able to guide clients toward clear outcomes.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in:

  • NDIS support coordination or plan management
  • Aged care or community care services
  • Medical or allied health clinic environments
  • Rehabilitation or healthcare settings

You will also bring:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to explain complex information clearly and simply
  • Confidence to lead conversations, not just respond to them
  • A balance of empathy and structure — you care, but you can also guide
  • High attention to detail and comfort working across systems
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Why Join Aidacare

  • Be part of a role that genuinely impacts people’s lives
  • Work alongside healthcare professionals and industry specialists
  • Ongoing training and development in assistive technology
  • Supportive, team-focused environment
  • Career pathway into the healthcare and assistive technology sector
  • Competitive salary + super + incentive structure
  • Employee benefits including discounts with major partners

Important to Note

This role may not suit candidates looking for:

  • A purely administrative or back-office position
  • A high-volume call centre role
  • A traditional retail sales environment
