About the role

In this role, you will be supporting effective operations within the warehouse while following up-to-date WHS policies. We provide training, uniform and administrative support, enabling you to focus and deliver on our client's needs.

Role Title: Storeperson

Location: Geelong, Victoria, Australia

Hours: Monday – Friday, Full Time Permanent

Reporting: Warehouse Manager

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced commercial warehouse preferred but not essential
• Physically fit and able to carry heavy items and follow correct manual handling procedures
• Approachable, friendly to colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment
• Strong organisation skills and ability to effectively multi-task
• Good understanding of cross contamination regarding used healthcare equipment
• Eye for details
• Handy with basic tools  
• Good verbal and writing communication skills
• Computer literate
• Can do attitude

Duties & Responsibilities

• Load/unload delivery vehicles manually and forklift-assisted
• Operate forklifts and equipment to move and store stock
• Maintain an organised warehouse and clean products at times
• Assist with stock control and purchase orders
• Pick and pack orders for dispatch
• Occasional filling in for a driver to service a delivery
• Ensuring strict implementation of Aidacare’s warehouse OH&S SOPs at all times.
• End of shift Warehouse cleaning
