About the role

Looking to begin your career in supply chain, purchasing or logistics? This entry-level opportunity is ideal for a school leaver, recent TAFE graduate or someone seeking their first role in the industry. With training and support, you will learn to coordinate the end-to-end lifecycle of overseas purchase orders, work with suppliers and freight forwarders, maintain shipment information, and help ensure products arrive at our warehouses accurately and on time.

Role Title: Supply Chain Coordinator

Location: Moorebank, New South Wales, Australia

Hours: Monday – Friday, Full Time Permanent

Role Level: Entry Level

Reporting: Head of Procurement

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn and genuine interest in building a career in supply chain, purchasing or logistics.
  • Completion of Year 12 is welcomed. A recent TAFE Certificate or Diploma in supply chain, logistics, business or a related field would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • No previous supply chain experience is required. Experience gained through school, TAFE, part-time work, retail, customer service, administration or warehousing will be valued.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel, together with the ability to learn new purchasing and workflow systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and a careful approach to checking information, documents, quantities, costs and delivery dates.
  • Good organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and follow up outstanding actions.
  • Clear written and verbal communication and a collaborative approach. Knowledge of international freight, Incoterms or shipping documents would be advantageous but is not essential.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Raise, release, and manage purchase orders with overseas suppliers in accordance with approved pricing, quantities, Incoterms and lead times
  • Resolve purchasing-related workflow discrepancies within DocuPhase and support invoice matching processes where required
  • Coordinate international shipments across air, LCL, and FCL modes from supplier dispatch through to warehouse delivery
  • Communicate shipment delays, variances, or risks in a timely manner to relevant stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate and timely system updates in Microsoft Dynamics GP, including shipment status, ETA changes, and delivery confirmations
  • Maintain freight cost review and disbursement records to support financial reconciliation
