Warehouse and Logistics Technician

About the role

In this key role, you would carry out vital support work for ongoing warehouse duties, equipment processing and data entry which includes admin duties on a wide range of equipment such as beds, patient hoists, wheelchairs, motorised scooters as well as other medical equipment and health aids.

Role Title: Warehouse and Logistics Technician
Location: Thomastown
Hours: Monday – Friday, Full Time Permanent
Reporting to: Service Manager

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced commercial warehouse preferred but not essential
• Forklift license essential on application.
• Physically fit and able to carry heavy items and follow correct manual handling procedures
• Approachable, friendly to colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment
• Strong organisation skills and ability to effectively multi-task
• Drivers License for occasional equipment collection and delivery

Duties & Responsibilities

• Inventory & Stock Management: Receiving, inspecting, logging, and storing inventory.
• Operational Tasks: Picking, packing, and dispatching orders.
• Machinery Operation: Safely operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and high-reach equipment.
• System Usage: Utilising systems for admin and inventory purposes
• Safety & Compliance: Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized, warehouse environment.
• Occasional delivery and collection of equipment.
