Warehouse Supervisor


About the role

In this crucial role, you will to supervise and effectively control all warehouse functions including Dispatch, Goods Receiving, Storage, Deliveries and Pick-ups whilst maintaining a desired level of inventory integrity and a tidy and functional work environment.

Role Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Bendigo, Victoria, Australia

Hours: Monday – Friday, Full Time Permanent

Reporting: Territory Manager

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in warehousing and operations– preferably in a fast-moving environment
  • Ability to lead and attend to the smooth operation of a Warehouse team
  • Comfortable navigating necessary computer systems essential for warehouse upkeep
  • Ability to analyse situations and think critically to find solutions and improve internal processes
  • History of compliance with safety regulations and best practice safety in a warehouse setting
  • Ability to effectively schedule internal and external deliveries

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage all warehousing process, stock, inventory and delivery fleet vehicles
  • To manage the daily orders to ensure they are sent out safely and in an acceptable delivery timeframe
  • To co-ordinate and ensure prompt dispatch of all outgoing goods by local and interstate freight carriers in a friendly, efficient and co-operative manner
  • Supervise and support the warehouse and distribution team in a fast-moving environment
  • Monitor and ensure effectiveness of warehouse equipment and maintenance
  • To provide prompt same day check-in Goods Inwards and to ensure prompt transfer to shelves and racks and all products are in good condition
  • Hands on role assembly of items and manual handling often required
